Spindrift Theatre: Við dönsum undir öskufalli endalokanna

New original play by Australian playwright Melissa-Kelly Franklin, written as a response to the climate crisis and attacks against women’s reproductive rights in 2019. The play continues the fight through sincere love for humanity, hope against the odds and passion to act now to create the future we desire.

A young couple living in a world ravaged by climate change is faced with a terrifying prospect. An unplanned pregnancy. Together they must decide whether they can bring a defenceless child into a seemingly hopeless world. We spend a night with them, as original music and choreography weave beautiful scenes from their past with their present moment, as they strive to reclaim hope in their uncertain future.
