NOTE! The workshop is in Finnish!
The legendary TRIPIT!-festival is organized with a theme ”rambling” (in Finnish ”rönsyily” means how plants or thoughts spread and ramble.
The workshop is based on the group’s old and new plant-themed exercises, which this time are experienced together outdoors in the Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden.
How does a seed germinate, grow roots, and then sprout toward the light? What is it like to be a plant in the garden? In rambling, through collective physical exercises, you immerse yourself in the world of plants: germination, growth, rambling.
At TRIPIT! -Exercise Festival we do Rambling-exercises together with the audience. Everyone is welcome to participate, previous experience is not needed.
A voluntary participation fee is 3 €. Payment by cash or MobilePay on site. Bring comfortable clothes that allow you to move.
Register by 13.6. info@toisissatiloissa.net. Maximum number of participants is 20.
Address: Kaisaniemenranta 2. We’ll gather inside the gate next to Cafe Viola.
TRIPIT! -festival takes place entirely outside, so please wear clothing that allows you to move according to the weather. A little rain doesn’t hurt.
Bring a drinking bottle and, if you wish, snacks. A Botanic Garden’s toilet is available.
Since 2004, the In Other Spaces group has been developing collective body transformation techniques that enable one to enter into contact with the modes of being and experience other than human. Over two hundred exercises have been developed over the years. Exercises done together are easy and enjoyable. They free the participant, at least momentarily, from the person’s character and identity.
Welcome to morph with us!
