Spring Roll -festivaali

Ehkä-tuotannon Spring Roll on taiteen aloja yhdistävä festivaali heräävän vuodenajan kynnyksellä. Spring Roll koostuu tanssi- ja esitystaiteen vierailuesityksistä, runoluennasta, konsertista, satelliittinäyttelystä ja lapsiystävällisestä klubista. Festivaalin tapahtumapaikkana toimii Ehkä-tuotannon Nykytaidetila Kutomon studiot ja Osuuskunta Poesian työhuone Lainnon vanhassa kutomorakennuksessa Turun Linnanfältin alueella.

Kevään 2024 festivaalin voi kokea lauantaista sunnuntaihin 20.–28.4.2024. Tapahtuma muodostuu verkoksi eri taiteen alojen vuoropuhelulle, mahdollistaa uusia kohtaamisia ja avaa osallistujille nykytaiteen kirjoa eri muodoissaan. Ohjelmassa nähdään muun muassa Camille Auerin esitys Ruff Knowledge ja kanadalaisten Alexa Mardonin ja Erika Mitsuhashin teos whereverever. Kuvataiteilija Hertta Kiiski osallistuu tapahtumaan tänä vuonna satelliittinäyttelyllä Cité internationale des artsin residenssistä Pariisista. Festivaalin toteutuksessa on Poesian taiteilijoiden ja Kiiskin lisäksi mukana myös turkulainen kokeellisen musiikin työryhmä Himera sekä Muskari-klubin työryhmä.

Festivaalilla noudatetaan Ehkä-tuotannon turvallisemman tilan ohjeistusta. Valitettavasti tilat Lainnon kutomorakennuksessa eivät ole esteettömät. Rakennuksessa on portaita, eikä siellä ole esteetöntä wc-tilaa.

Ehkä-production’s Spring Roll is a multidisciplinary art festival on the eve of the awakening season. Spring Roll consists of guest performances of new dance and performance, poetry readings, concert, satellite exhibition, and a child-friendly music club. The festival venue is Contemporary Art Space Kutomo and co-operative publisher Poesia’s workspace in the Lainto weaving building in the Linnanfält area of Turku.

The upcoming festival can be experienced from Saturday 20 April to Sunday 28 April 2024. The festival forms a network for dialogue between different art fields, enables new encounters, and opens up the spectrum of contemporary art in its various forms to the participants. The program presents for example Camille Auer’s performance Ruff Knowledge, and Canadian artists Alexa Mardon’s and Erika Mitsuhashi’s piece whereverever. Visual artist Hertta Kiiski is participating in this year’s event with a satellite exhibition from her residency at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris. In addition to Poesia’s artists and Kiiski, the Turku-based experimental music group Himera and the working group of Club Muskari collaborates with the festival.
